Text graphic error

just got the game running great, except blocks of text are being scrambled all over. running vista 32 AMDx2 2600mhz 2gddr2 atix1300 256mb card

I had this same problem.

After a bit of internet searching, I found the solution.

The problem is with ATI Catalyst A.I.

Open your Catalyst console. Either with the red and white ATI icon in your taskbar or by right-clicking on your desktop and choosing the ATI Catalyst Control Center.

When the ATI control center window opens, go down to the 3D section and open it.

About half way down the list you'll see Catalyst® A.I.

Select that and then on the right at the bottom, check "disable Catalyst A.I."

That should solve your problems with the text looking all corrupted.
