Strange retraining bug

I'm playing as Spain right now and I've run into a strange bug.

I've built the jousting building that increases the experience of the cavalry knights I recruit in that settlement.

But when I go to recruit the knights, they don't get the experience points. If I wait a turn, those same units show up in the retraining tab. If I retrain them again, they still don't pick up those experience points and they show up again in the retrain tab. I've done this over and over, but they just don't get those exp points.

Anyone know what I"m talking about?

Yes, it's a known bug. It happens when you save/load the game while you have units in the retrain queue.

So if I reload the game, I need to take them out of the queue and back in?

How do I override the bug?

@homefry. You can't.

The workaround is like this:

1. play your turn
2. save your game
3. put units in the retraining queue (right click to see that they get the experience)
4. hit end turn

This works for the guilds and the tourney fields.
