    Default Time change?

Heya, just downloaded the MOD! It all sure sounds great and i cant wait to play.

First it didnt work....the late era campaign crashed back to desktop.
Checked forum for answers ---> Un-installed and re-installed the Mod. Now it works!

Now I always change the time period in the original Medieval 2. The original time period is 1030 till 1560 i believe. I always give myself 500 more years to slowly build up my empire ( yes, I'm one of those players who dont blitzkrieg through the game)

Now this mod ...the late era campaign starts already at 1230 till 1550.
I know how to alter it in Medieval 2 by checking the desc_strat file. But I cant find it for Stainless Steel?

Could anyone help me with this?

ps. the reason why i described my crash situation is to indicate that I always look and search on the forum first before I go question around while the answer is already given.

lol ! that kinda sounds too long imo haha

Is there anyone who completed that? thats really a lot !! 20.000 turns!

I usually set start date at around 150 ( lol its weird since its just after the Romans ) and the end date around 1600.

when changing the starting and ending dates do you also change the build times and training times (EDB & EDU)?

i modified some of the files in SS5.0, such as 2 turns per year (instead of 1.5 yrs per turn) for a total of 900 turns and increased all build times and costs (to compensate for the lenght of game). it Makes the game more interesting and challenging (for me anyway).
