My Empire is on the way out...

Just like the title says my Polish Empire is on its way out at one point i where in control i have pushed back HRE and Denmark, and even conquered a few provinces in the Holy lands and now everyone hates me. This as lead to me being at war with Hungray and Russia now to make matters worst the Mongols are here i have seen 8 stacks then another 4!!!! just appear.

any advice?

Kiev is a horde target, so watch out. Against the mongols, don't fight open field battles. Force them into sieges and defeat them that way. Also ramp up assassin production and send them out to assassinate the mongol generals. I'd also say try and wipe out Hungary and Denmark in the same turn (sack their cities for extra cash) and just hunker down and defend Kiev.

Yeah i where pushing the HRE and Denmark back then i lost my faction leader and another 10 general in the same turn both old age the empire since then as not been the same. I'm playing this campaign on H/M and i know i'm doing rubbish but i sorta like not been the most dominate force on the map and having to fight to servive, so i will try and defeat kiev it is the most advanced city in my kingdom does this have an effect on the mongols choosing this province as thier captial?, or will they travel down to constantinople which owned by the turks? also having the campaign map on hard does this effect the amount of stacks the mongols spawn on there event?.

The Tatar invaions got stopped in 1287 in southern Poland. Then they left to go back home. Hold out I guess? Try to get the pope to call a crusade if possible. That's just historical advice.

Send a diplomat to the Mongols and gift them a City far, far away from your empire.

I have done this in the past and the Mongol army would march to their city.

I'd recommend that you make an alliance with the mongols or declare a truce with them. This'll keep your forces in the east safe for a few turns, allowing you to recruit extra units to conquer Hungary and Russia. Hungary and Russia have good cavalry so be sure to recruit a LOT of spearmen against them. You should not drop your guard totally in the east though since the mongols may betray you.
