I just got the demo of EU3 and I'm enjoying it a lot but just one question. How do I take complete control of a provence after a conquer it? I can occupie it but thats it. Can someone explain it to me?
You have to click sue for peace, and demand tribute, and demand that they cede the province to you.
Just don't expect a lot of provinces.
Even if you get 100% war score you can't, as of patch 1.3, annex them completly unless it's a one province minor or pagan.
Actually, may be it is possbile to occupy all enemy's provinces and wait 25 years until they become your core. The problem is rebellion would arise anytime and resurrect your enemy, so diplo-annex is the most recommand (force vassal, wait 10 years, demand annex).
I've demanded annexation four times in my game, and only once did they agree to it. What helps make it easier?
Diplomatically?
High relations, low BB, high diplomacy king, basically...
Just keep trying, it took me ten or twenty tries to annex france and castile in my last portugal game![]()
