Instalation problem

I was re-installing Kingdoms and before the install process could begin a message poped up telling me it couldnt updated my fresh 1.0 installation to 1.3. I've never had this problem before. Isn't it supposed to update to 1.2 automatically? How can I fix this? will downloading 1.2 work?

if yes then continue reading and there's the solution

heres what you have to do:
-download patch 1.1 and install it

after that (the installation only takes less that 2 minuts) insert kingdoms and start installation

patch 1.2 and 1.3 are included in Kingdoms soo you don't have to download them
-both patches take lot's of time to install soo don't think it is freezed and NEVER (i repeat NEVER) press cancel if you think is frozen , both take ...about 30/45 minuts to install

and that's it
