How will MTW2 perform with this spec?

This xmas I'm getting PC upgraded from -

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3600+ @ 1.91 GHz, 2 GB Ram, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT

To -

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ @ 3.0 GHz, 2 GB Ram, NVIDIA GeFOrce 8800 GT

How will this run MTW2? Is it likely I can have huge units with all visuals maxed?

Also what over all increase in performance am I likely to see?

MTW2 really ought to have dual core enabled, I know it’s a pain for programmers but this sort of game could really benefit from dual core programming.

Your computer shouldn't have any problems even at huge settings, but you really ought to get a Core 2 Duo their a lot better then the Athlon chips at the moment.

That should run it fine on Huge.

@ Freddie Really? Hmmm, I have had no problems with mine, and I am quite happy with it, especially the price tag.
