Is there a difference in the gameplay or ai between RTR pe using RTW 1.5 vice using RTR pe with BI?
Just wondering. I know that you can still do night attacks with RTW 1.5 but I haven't seen any of the loyalty, religion or counterfaction that is in BI.

the AI is much better, and does naval invasions and stuff. way cooler, I guarantee!

There were naval invasions in RTR 6 Gold as well, not just very often. The AI is a lot more aggressive on the strategy map using RTR PE.Originally Posted by Delvecchio1975

Im confused. Because I thought that the RTW 1.5 patch gave all the same benefits that RTW BI did? So am i missing out by not installling BI or not?
I know the ai is somewhat better in RTR PE than it was in RTW, but I want to know if it is worth buying BI (barbarian invasions).

The Ai in RTRPE is better because of the engine it uses. Meaning RTW v1.5 as compared with previous versions. The Ai itself is hardcoded and can only be influenced, guided, not really changed. As for the difference between RTW v1.5 and BI v1.6 it seems the latter is better and in general more enclined to do naval invasions (when that faction has the prefer naval invasions set to yes) then it was with RTW.

There was no specific Xmas mentioned - so it could be Xmas 2008.....
