    It's all about Left side lineage. as show in this screen shot

    With the current setup as it is regarding kingdoms e.g. the kings brother is the heir, so when the kings son came of age I had the prince killed in a battle so the kings son gained the Heir, then followed the supplied links instructions on maintaining the Leftside lineage.
