    Default Brittania Crash /freeze.

The three other scenarios work fine. The Britannia scenario always crashes- it might be after the first turn it might be later on but it crashes. It just freezes. The music stops, the mouse freezes, I cant reset to windows or anything. It just totally freezes and locks down.

    Does anyone know why?
Its a real shame because this scenario is the best in my opinion.

    Anyone got a cure?
    Thanks.

Does anyone have any clue as to why? Is it possible that because the scenario has a lot of sea and sea is (so I have been told) more demaning on memory, it locks up? I wanna play...

I've experienced similar problems in the past, specificially when playing as the HRE in normal M2 (Not any other faction, surprisingly) - Happens anytime within the first hour of play, though I was usually greeted by some ********* error about graphics being too high, and lowering them before entering a battle (despite being on the campaign map, and the graphics being fine for every other bloody faction.)

My advice is google how to turn automatic restarts off.

When your PC locks up like that, it's usually trying to turn itself off, and PC's do this automatically without telling you why (since the average joe-blog would panic and not know what to do with a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death))

Turn automatic restarts off, and when your PC next does this again, see what the error is on the BSoD. If you're using an nVidia graphics card, heaven forbid, the error is PROBABLY nv4_disp.dll

I managed to fix my BSoD's relating to this by downloading a program called nTune and underclocking my graphics card by 20mHz on both sliders (not the fan)

Of course, if you're not using an nVidia, then most of the above is irrelevant to you.

Though, find out how to, and turn Automatic Restart off, and tell us what the BSoD (if any) says.

    Hope this helps.
