Default unit editing ( maybe wrong forum )

not sure if this was the right place to ask but..

ive been trying to figure out how to edit the units in medevil total war 2 : kingdoms, particularly the teutonic campaign, i read on another forum that you have to unpack the files to edit them, wich i did, and changed the unit stats in the export_desc_unit file, and saved it, it did not however effect the unit i wanted to edit, ( dismounted rittenburg? not sure of the spelling ) i also tryed starting a new game and that did not have any changes either, perhaps i missed a step?

p.s. yes im just trying to make this unit rediculasly powerful, ive played and beat rome, barbarian invasion and medevil 2 campaigns quite afew times and just want to have some fun with this,

Add the IO file first command to your shortcut or config file. The correct command can be found in the M2TW config thread in Stickies and important info in the mod workshop.

If you want fun, beef up the berserkers from Rome and give them a lot of mass. It can be fun to see them launch enemies into the air in the same way elephants do.

To expand on Dick's info: add --io.file_first after the --mods thing in the shortcut to the Teutonic order game, with a space inbetween them:
    "C:\Games\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\kingdoms.exe" --features.mod=mods/teutonic --io.file_first
