    Default Units rosters in M2TW and Kingdoms.

    I've been searching the unit roosters from several factions, and sometimes there seems to be too much generalization between factions.

    Do you guys know of any examples of excessive unit generalization between factions. Could you help me in creating a list contaning several examples of units that are excessively generalized? This applies to any faction, for instance, a unit that exists in both the Moors and the Seljuks but should only exist in the moorish units rooter due to historical realism.

    I don't have a list... but having two of the same units for the same faction is not always unrealistic... if they are ethnically close. DFK are common to most European factions and the history is not wrong in that (for the most part).

    Having the same units for different faction is can be historical inaccurate but its a game.... although it would be nice to see some more faction unique units.

    Lets see some of the copies i know...
    Gendarmes for French and Spanish
    Mailed knights for most European factions... although i personally think that is fine.
    Jinetes for Portugal and Spain i see no problem with that either.
    Of course the backbone of any army.... spear militia, which in some ways is fine too
    those are couple i am sure theres more.

    I'm also including units that should for the most part truly remain unique for one faction and yet we find them in 2 or 3 different factions.

    You know, those that are without reason to be present in several factions and still we find them in more than one, but without affecting gameplay drastically.

    Units such as spear militia, pike militia, arquebusiers, etc can't be removed without a drastic gameplay change between factions.

    I'm talking more in the lines of important units that should be unque to one faction for the most part.

    The Spanish , French and Portuguese have the same kind of chicken too, while the moors simply have a browner version of it!
