Patch?

Ok I'm a forum noob

Have been playing mtw2 for a while having played the rest of the series from shogun. In all this time Ive never patched a game being a little technophobic.

My question is could anyone link me the most basic first patch to download for MTW2? I am not after mods, just a patch that sorts out some known bugs.

Ive tried googling it and am getting loads of random things that just leave me confused :/

It's not the first patch for the game but it includes all of the fixes from that one plus many other improvements.

IIRC (from my own patch) you only need to download and install 1.2 patch (1.1 is not a prerequisite). I think that is what AythMan was saying (and I agree).

This should be a fairly easy and greatly rewarding (improved game play) exercise for you. If you have questions, give us a post! The group here loves to help.

You could also patch up to 1.3 to be up to date. Corrects alot of issues not fixed by 1.2.

1.3 is for Kingdoms compatability only, and fixes nothing in M2TW. You don't need it unless you intend playing multiplayer with people that have Kingdoms.

If you dont play multiplayer then don't worry about 1.3 ur be wasting your time.

Fresh, unmodded install of M2TW, then patch 1.2. Nothing else and nothing between.
