Default Error loading the mod for the first time

Hi! I noticed this mod earlier this evening and I thought I'd give it a go. So I installed the mod, the exp and the patch to the exp (and that sound mod).. but when I load it I get a "error loading mount database". I use the RomeTW-BI exe, am I supposed to? Cause I didn't find a rio exe.

    Anyone?

    Hi trettonkilolax, the installation steps:
    -a clean, unmodded rtw/bi 1.6
    -Rio IBFD VI
    -Rio IBFD VI EXPANSION
    -Rio Expansion patch added..10/28/07 gl

The rio exe(mod switcher) is for Rio V, not VI.
There is a way to copy over the Rio V(rio exe) to upgrade the mod switcher all the way to to the VI patch but I'm not yet sure it is error proof. I posted it on the Rio IBFD VI discussions thread for anyone who wants to try it out.

That's the way I thought I did it. Although it wasn't an unmodded rtw/bi 1.6, but I don't think I have any mods that overwrites original files.. I'll try a clean version anyway.

It really should be unmodded. There too much of a chance that a modded file will no be compatible with the Rio install. Let me know how it goes okay

Remember the sound mod instructions (if you use it)before dl it onto the mod. theres a few things you need to do to it before copying it onto the mod. The Expansion patch should be the last thing you dl on the mod

Yeah, indeed it worked now that I had a clean vanilla. I didn't install the sound mod this time, thought I'd check so it worked first.. but should I add the exp patch agian after I've installed that?

    Thanks btw!

    Your welcome

Just make sure the last thing that you copy over the mod is the final expansion patch and not the sound mod.
