[Viva Espana!]

A question... In the Medieval Total War II: Kingdoms expansion pack, do Lithuanian Generals have large magnets attached to their chests that attract flaming catapult boulders? I'm playing as the Teutonic Knights at the moment and it's happened three times now. My large, flaming piece of rock takes a Lithuanian general off his horse. I'm curious if anyone else here has experienced this.

Your very lucky, i loose half my own generals bodyguard and other troops trying to take out a enemy general. And i have witnessed once when a general was taken out by a catapult, unfortunately it was my general. And i thought i was keeping him safe in the rear.

Thanks for the welcome. Has anyone else had this happen to them? The only other time I've heard of it is when my friend gave himself 10 stacks of Onagers in a custom RTW and just bombarded the living hell out of a city.

You'll be glad to hear that your not alone.

This has never personally happened to me, but on another forum this was a hotly debated topic about how you could either take out the enemy general or lose your our general to catapults fire.

This was all happening before the Kingdoms expansion was released. I guess it must be a bug in the program that's not been resolved.

Its not a bug, the general's just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It happens and its one of the joys/woes of artillery.

It's happened to my Generals so many times (especially vs Portugal, for whatever reason ) that I have a bit of a phobia of catapults. I flinch every time I hear one fire.
