I have the Fourth Age mod installed at the moment, but would it be possible for me to install Chivalry over FATW?

I was thinking yes, since CTW is in its own mod folder (as well as FA), but I want to double check

Well, since Atterdag said it would work, he probably has both of them installed... I had N2TW and CTW installed in the same place, and it was fine. There's still a chance though that even mods that use mod folders change a couple of vanilla files, or something, so I can't guarantee that it would work. But technically it should.

Hey, I'm going to use this thread for another question, if you don't mind.

In all of my campaigns (castile, Novgorod, and Pisa....yes, I have a short attention span), every campaign the HRE always dominates the European continent, stretching from Northern Spain all the way to Poland. They're just too damn powerful. Was this intended?

By the way, I play on H/H. And great mod! Finally got around to replaying it over a years hiatus from RTW!

I have had a game once in which the HRE was eaten by the frensh very fast (after perhaps 20 or 25 years).

The outcome is very different.
Depends on the difficulty setting, and the chosen faction you play, and your action on the map.
It is not intended to make HRE exagerated strong, but they have good chances to stay their ground and more, sometimes.

IIRC, in earlier builds they would get defeated very soon because they are surrounded by factions (i.e.: enemies), so I guess their greater strength can be partially attributed to that.

In my Castile campaign I grew so exasperated that I had to quit: I was so closing to driving out the Moors, they only had Cordoba and Granada left, until the HRE attacked me in the North, and all hell broke loose. Ionly had one or two armies, and they were all in the South, so the HRE were able to take Leon, Zaragoza and that other city (Borges, or something like that), not to mention annihilate Aragon.

In my Novgorod campaign right now they're huge. Thank God I'm not at war with them yet, mainly because of a buffer of rebel states between us (I don't think they will last long), and the Hungarians, with whom I am at war right now.

It's completly backwards in my current French campaign.
The HRE is being torn apart by civil war

Sachsen just revolted and their armies are not that big. Not big enough to break the 3 major Rebel stacks camping around Magdeburg anyways.

Yep, Chiv shouldn't be played on VH campaign ... or somebody likes to have real stress, then yes
