    Default changing display of turns to years

    How can I change it to where the turns are displayed as the year.

    First, you must go here: "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\americas\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign"
    (*americas is just an example of the path you must use)

    Then, you must select "descr_strat" properties, after that, you should uncheck where it says "only read". Then you get in the file and you must erase the following line: "show_date_as_turns".

    After doing all the previous process, you should see years instead of turns.

    p.d. for next time use the search button, as this question, was already answered.

    also, wat u could do is leave it as turns, and then add this

    [misc]
    show_hud_date = true

    to ur med2 config file. that way everything will show up. the turns show up in the spot they normally do, and then the year AND season show up on the bar over the mini map.

    (i haven't tried this with kingdoms, i only use this on my mod's config file, but if u put it in the med2 config file is should show up in kingdoms also)
