    Default Saw IV

After Saw III, I promised myself that I wouldn't see another one of these things, but temptation and promises that "Everything in Saws I-III have been leading up to this!" won me over.

I just got back from seeing it and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. In my world, I would rank the films as:

    Saw: Genius
    Saw II: Pretty good
    Saw III: Pretty bad.

Saw IV, IMO, would fall somewhere between the first and second in terms of overall enjoyability.

    Anyone else see it?

The films only really focused on torturing people and that sort of thing in the 2nd and 3rd one. I found the 1st saw movie to be surprisingly brilliant, myself.

Havent seen the 4th one, and i wont be anytime soon since it'll take a while for it to be released here in NZ , but i hope its a return to the style of the 1st one instead of 2 and 3. I doubt it is though, right?

I hate these movies. I have no interest in seeing people getting tortured in the most cruel ways possible for 2 hours. I wonder what sicko thinks of this stuff

Hehe yeah but it's the kind of movie you can only watch with friends. Otherwise I'd **** my pants.

Me and two friends once invited a couple of girls over to watch SAW IV, they hadn't seen it before. Needless to express, "".

Can someone tell me what the **** is wrong with Quentin Tarantino? I think he needs to see a shrink.

Quentin Tarantino is weird, but he makes movies that are much more classy.
He isn't the director of Saw, Darren Lynn Bousman is.

Never mind, I mixed up Saw with Hostel.

I dont like the extreme gore in Saw movies but I really like the wisdom of Jigsaw.

I'll probably see Saw IV soon because it's one of the few Horror movies in theatre (aside from 30 Days of Night which I will probably see soon too).

hehe Eli Roth directed Hostel. Tarentino simply "presented" the movie...

Well, for some small consultation, there's somewhat less torture in this one, though when it's there it's exceptionally brutal. The first scene is probably the most graphic, and it's an autopsy, not even a Jigsaw trap.

I'd say that it has a considerable amount of drama this time around as well, focusing on Jigsaw's backstory, which is pretty interesting.
