Question about the Mongols in CAE

If you destroy the mongols BEFORE the "Mongol Invasion" will they (the mongols) reapper when the "mongol invasion" event comes?

hehe, the Mongols are very hard to destroy. When you take their last city the first two mongol armies ( that would have come wiht teh invasion) pops up and then you have to hunt them down. If you kill them I don't think the invasion will come.

A good question troch.. However I'm not sure for the answer I've removed the dead_until resurrected code from the descr_strat but most likely the script will execute the command of mongol armies and they will come again.

I don't think they will Zeph. I have destroyed them before the invasion. it says " Faction destroyed- The Mongols" And they aren't shown anywhere. and that is because you destroy their last alive leader. Just like if you stop the Mongol invasion before they get power in Vanila.

Personally I have made so that the Mongols show up in turn 500 or something

Aha kind of guessed it..That's due to the horde status of the Mongols..So in short they are destroyable before the invasion provided that you completely root them out including destroying their last army other than conquering their last city.

You've perfectly summerized all that is left And add to the list the CAE menu and interface.. I think it will be ready before Christmas
