Greetings,
I will copy some information previously posted by Empedocles in order to give you some information:
Just let me add that in 77BC version 1.0. the player was given the choice to play as Caesar when he arrived to the date of 58BC and fulfill his campaigns. But we had some problems in order to make the new Caesariani faction remain at peace with the SPQR faction until the start of the Civil War so we had to remove the Caesariani faction in 77BC version 2.0. And we decided to make a quick mod only playable as Caesar: 58BC.Hi! It's good to see you like our little projects.
The team has released only two mods.
The first one, TFT:The First Triunvirate 1.92 is about the life of the triumvirs. You can play with Caesar and conquer Gaul, Crassus and conquer Parthia, Pompey and crush Caesar's rebellion, Vercingetorix and free Gaul from Roman oppression or play with Parthia and try to conquer rome.
The second mod is 77BC: Twilight of the republic. This mod is set in 77BC after Sulla dies and it involves historical events of that era. You can play with any faction on the map but I recommend the romans.
The next mod to be released is 58BC: Caesar Imperator!
It's a single faction mod that involves HEAVY scripting, dynamic missions, a new map, etc. You will recreate Caesar career from the Helvetii migration up to the final battle for the Civil war at munda.
This mod is still under beta testing and we estimate it will be out in 1 month.
Hope this helps![]()
it really does, thanks Salvor Hardin.
edit: i have 7BC 2 installed, but can i install TFT in the same folder or...? because in the screen of the guys folder there's 77bc and also TFT , so when installing can i just select the same folder as 77bc 2 or do i have to copy and make a new folder?

ok i tried and it works![]()
very nice mod guys, beautifel done, i tried the 77BC 2 and TFT and played every campaign a couple of turns, it's just annoying that i can't play very well, because my left arm is broken :p so when i have to select several units and use the ctrl key it's annoyingbut really ---> nice mod!!!! i'm already waiting for the caesar mod!!
Glad that you are enjoying yourself![]()
58 BC: IMPERATOR! is looking really good. Beta Testing confirms the Bellum Gallicum is a really tough challenge. At present finishing touches are being made to the Bellum Civile, principally the Munda Campaign.
Salvor Hardin is a scripter of genius with an evil sense of humour that will cause players no end of difficulties![]()
i'm really looking forward to that one!!!
ive just got a question: how do you get evocati? i'm confused cause, you start with one unit in Arretium hu? well i was training an army to fight Spartacus, cohors legionarii in a couple of cities and while i was bringing them all together and suddenly i noticed that the cohort i trained in Aretium was a cohors evocata!!! but the turn before was just a cohors legionarius...
can anyone explain this?
tnx
I can't remember the exact script that generates the evocati but Salvor devised a set of conditionals that if met would produce a limited number of cohors evocata i.e. these units cannot be recruited by the player as a matter of routine.
When Salvor returns from his trip to London he will be able to provide the specific info you require![]()
tnx Bucellarii, you hang out here all day don't you? ^^
EDIT: 1. i wonder what will happen if you don't fullfil your goal at the specific date? like you have to conquer the Sertoriani and you didn't conquer them at winter 72BC (or whatever the deadline is), what will happen??
2. what's the point of upgrading the barracks? you just get the same troops as the barracks before...

Hi,
1. Well... I can't tell you exactly what will happen, but I can imagine that some armies will spawn to kick you out of spain.
2. SPQR armies were not know for diversity in the late republic, were they?
cheers!
eum, bit confused here, in 66bc i got my new senatus consultum saying: take the Armenian cities of....... prior to 67bc :hmmm: eum...?
and a second thing: i got a message from Victoria saying: the senate will help you with a legion: well next turn i got two legions, i thought, nice surely welcome!!! but it was late and i didn't want to start doing all the bussines of building things and fighting stacks.... so i quit and go to sleep. Next time i play (loaded from the turn before) i thought "ow yes, the two legions" i end turn and..... nothing happens, no legions...... damn!! now i played a couple of turns further and i still haven't got the legionswhat's happening????
ps: see previous post please!!
A silly question: after you loaded the save-game, before clicking end of turn, did you click in any settlement in order to re-activate the script? This kind of things tend to happen quite often to me![]()
eum... i think i did..... and if i didn't? what do i have to do then?
ps: see 2 posts back: eum, bit confused here, in 66bc i got my new senatus consultum saying: take the Armenian cities of....... prior to 67bc eum...?
If you did not then you have lost some of the scripted features of the mod and, perhaps, time has advanced faster as the four turns per year have not been activated either.
So, if possible, I would recommend you to reload your save-game and resume your campaign loading the script.
Concerning the senatus consultum, that was a typo mistake: it should read Summer of 64 BC.
Thanks for the information!
i don't think i forgot to activate the script, and time didn't go faster either... i think..... can't i spawn them now in the one or another way? because i have over saved it already....
Give me a couple of hours to get home and I will PM you some codes to get the scripted reinforcements.![]()
tnx Salvori replied
