    Default CTD in 172 BC

clean RTW1.5 + EB1.0, no modding at all, and no cheat except "toggle_fow".

    Here's the save game:

I'm using Romani. After I clicked the end turn button and when the faction icon turned to "Eleutheroi" the game crashed.

I tried not activating the script. Then it won't crash. But as long as I activate the script, it keeps CTD. So I guess the problem must lie there.

BTW I haven't reached Marian Reform condition yet. So it should be a coincidence that the CTD happens in 172BC.

    Any help is appreciated!

Ok, I loaded my 174BC save game and started playing from there. However, It still CTD when I get to the year 172BC! Again when the faction icon turned to Eleutheroi. Am I the only one who get this problem?

Hmm, that's odd. I don't think there was a single change to the Roman reforms for v1.0. Do you have a 'Reformer' guy that is just waiting for the correct date?

    Thank you for your reply!

but no, I don't think I had a reformer, nor did I conquered 45 settlements.

Last evening, I loaded the 172BC save game and didn't activate the script. Then end that turn. Then activated the script and moved on. I didn't get CTD any more. Is it ok for me just jumping that weird turn?

Ah, good to hear you got passed it. Missing one year of the script shouldn't do any harm.

I'm still curious as to why it happened, since it seemed script related. But if you didn't have any of the other reform stuff and it didn't occur the next turn after the bugged one, it doesn't seem to be reform related.
