Default one turn = one year?

In EB 1.0 uses the follwoing setting: one turn = 1/2 year. Is it possible to play Europa Barbarorum with one turn = one year settings? I am asking that, because my pc isn't very modern and I would like to use more exiciting roman warfare in the campaign, but the marian reforms and 170 BC are still far far away...The campaign tempo is too slow in my opinion so which file do I have to modify?

EB uses 1 turn=3 month (meaning 4 turns per year).

You could change it by modifying the script, but no-one will recomend this, as it will mess up all the traits, and you will still have to wait the same amount of turns to get the reforms, so in other words, mess up all reforms as well. Instead, let me direct you to this thread, which shows you how to modify the reform conditions themselves, and this way, you won't ruin the rest of the game.

Also, there is a Late Project Mod which is coming along, which just moves the start date forward to the historical Marian reforms (can't rememeber off the top of my head what this is), which lets you start with the fantastic Marian troops, and portrays the world accurately in that time period. This of course means two new factions!
