Problem installing Patch v1.3

Hello

I have the Kingdoms expansion Disk-1. There is the update3 folder, which it contains the 1.3 patch. Firstly, I installed the update2 (patch v1.2) and now that I'm trying to install the v1.3 it shows this error message I'm posting.

Error invalid or missing target blah blah...

Someone that can help?

I can actually, but its not good news....

I had the same error message but it said there was an error with pack_03, after hunting the forums i found out the only solution was a complete re-install. It takes a long time and you need to add each patch in sequence to the vanilla game before moving o kingdoms. Also try installing each campaign in kingdoms individually as that was also a problem for me. For an unknown reason my pc wanted to do everything at once.

I recomend the retro fit mod and unit patch, might as well do it all while you are there. Good luck!

Uninstall
Reinstall
apply patch v1.2
apply patch v1.3 --> This is where it stacks :-(
install kingdoms

I think Im gonna ruin my hard drive installing - uninstalling all the time.

Yes thats it, also remeber to copy out your save files from the game folder before you do if you wish to retain anything previously played.

it worked for me starting over, i am also sure there was a 1.1 patch as well so you may want to check the total war site first.

next time you do not have to install patch 1.2 and 1.3 prior to Kingdoms. The kingdoms installer does that for you.
