Continue the Star Wars Movies?

Now if they should make another Star Wars Movie, what would u want it to revolve around?

Stormtroopers killing thousands of Ewoks and Gungans. Two hours of that.

But it would be cool if they would remake the old trilogy. With today's CGI we would actually see some real space battles no wait, really bad idea, I don't think I can see the elite of the empire getting killed by teddybears again ...

I kinda liked ep3 too, at least more than 1 and 2. They had some nice battles in there, but plot sucked like always ...

Im a huge Star Wars fanboy, and those prequels were pretty bad. I could go on forever about the lameness spread across those 3 movies... mostly centered around Anakin's portrayal.


Continue SW movies? Why not? There's plenty of money to be made and special effects are only getting better. Just dont let George Lucas write any of them. He's good at ideas and concepts, but his writing isnt up to snuff. The authors who have written novels and comics on what happpens after Return of the Jedi would do a much better job of handling the material than Lucas.

Apparently George Lucas is planning to make a Star Wars TV series based on a new set of characters.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced...

There will be NO MORE STAR WARS MOVIES. You got that? Georgy, if was to make a movie, it would take place after ROTJ. Well Guess what? Luke doesn't get gray hair when he's ~20 now does he? Well, Luke has Grey hair now. Unless you want to see lightsabers replaced by canes, there will be no 7th movie.

the expanded universe has covered post ROTJ

How about a story that revolves around Jar-Jar becoming a Sith, and he kills the Naboo?

Anyway, I don't think the movie should continue anymore - I'm happy with the prospect of a t.v show coming out (unless that idea's been scrapped?). With the death of Vadar, it seems like a whole new storyline would have to be pursued. And I don't know if Lucas can make a story that matches his original vision.

I think the movie-format should be left alone, but the whole Star Wars universe should continue in the form of television shows and cartoons.

but if I had the funds (and was sure I wouldn't receive death threats from thousands of nerds around the world), I would re-do all 6 movies.

there are some things I would change in the original trilogy. Nothing major, mostly dialog revision. Plus I would make Vader even more bad ass.

The only Star Wars movie I didn't like was Episode III. George Lucas struggled tremendously bridging Episode II to Episode IV (and it showed).

Showing (not suggesting) Vadar's villainous acts would've been nice.
