    Default No captain-led armies

Hello everyone, I'd like to know if there is any way to avoid unit walking outside of cities without a general. I'm really tired of endless captain-led AI armies that attack the player only to get slaughtered due to poor morale, there are too much meaningless battles. I'd like a system similar to that of Knights of Honor, with less armies, more powerful and led by characters. There is any mod that do something similar, or there is a way to mod in this feature myself? At the moment I'm using Stainless Steel 5.0, a great mod by all meaning but don't solve this issue. Thanks.

Hmm, you might be able to solve that in Kingdoms by setting the movement points for captain led armies to 0, so only generals can move outside settlements.

Good idea. What have I to modify?

descr_character.txt, the starting_action_points for generals(which are captains ingame, named_character in the file refers to generals).

Thanks a lot. I'm going to try it in SS to see how much hampers AI performance. This would block on site coptain-led armies in the field at the beginning, but still...

tried... don't work: armies in cities don't go out even in there is a named character moving alongside them. For the armies outside it works.

Lusted, I think descr_character.txt is partly bugged. Changing movement points for agents works, but for named characters and generals it does not work. Setting it to zero, or setting default moves to 0 and setting theirs to 1000, does not work.
