i cant patch the game to 1.1

HI!

i have got MTW2 1.0 installed on my computer. The game works flawlessly, no problems at all.
However, when i try to patch the game to 1.1 it shows me this error: This application has failed to start because granny2.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
But when i place the file in C:/windows it shows an error of different kind: granny2.dll has been incorrectly installed as C:/windows/granny2.dll. To avoid versioning problems, granny2.dll must always be installed in an application-specific directory, and never in a system directory. And then an error comes up that the application has failed to initialize.
I have formated the PC a few days ago, and before that MTW worked flawlessly.

Please help me someone, what should i do!

so now i hove solved the issue with the 1.1 patch....i had to put the patcher into the main MTW2 folder
but, i can not install the 1.2 patch...i get this error message: The setup has detected that no version of MTW2 is installed.
This update requires that a previous version of the application be installed.
I DL-ed the patch from segas web, so it should work....I do not know what i am doing wrong...

You might not like this answer as you spent so long getting 1.1 to load but... I think you should try installing 1.2 on an unpatched (eg 1.0 not 1.1) version!

I think some people reported problems before trying to put 1.2 over 1.1

but, when i try to instal the 1.2 over a fresh install, it says the same error as posted above......weird...

sorry for the spam, but this is probably my last post....
so the patch DL-ed from sega.com did not work, the patch from Fileplanet works like a charm!!
and i wanna ask, is the 1.3 patch important for me?
