    Default Spies - PreBattle Positioning

    Hello everybody......

When you had (in MTWII) a spie within your army and attcked the enemy, you were able to see on the battle preperation screen the positioning of the enemy army before the battle was started.

I do like to know where my enemy is positiong himself, instead of finding out after the battle started that they are somewhere completly different.

Anybody noticed this, or am I mang some silly mistake???????

yeh - that's right. useful it is. you also get the same effect when an enemy is sieging you most the time, although perhaps not if its a night battle.

atcually i haven't gotten it to work at all, and i tried it. the view that u get when sallying is automatic regardless of having a spy. i guess the only reason to stick a spy with ur stack is for scouting.

I never knew this and always wondered why sometimes in a field battle you could see the enemy and other times not.
