Is it just me or is everyone having these problems regardless the resolution you use?
What do you mean? Blurred pictures or UI? Pixilated UI building/unit cards? Do you have a screenshot? Depending on what it looks like, it could be intentional, a game engine thing, or an actual bug.
In the campaign mode, I'm experiencing highly "pixeled" building icons. I think that this is what Hister means.
It's not than irritating though. Nothing can spoil the fun in my EB 1.0 Makedonian campaign!
The pixization of the building cards is a result of how the RTW engine deals with resolution. If your resolution is not 1024x768 (the resolution RTW was designed for) the UI cards will appear pixilated.
I always play on a different resolution and just deal with the pixilation in exchange for mor detail on the strat map.
Okey, thanx for answers!
I have a 19 inch monitor and whichever resolution I use (also 1024x768) there is the image problem. The pixelation accours when in custome battle menu - all units that you can choose for battle are pixelated/blurred. In campaign all icons for the buildings that can be found in UI and the ones that you still can build appear to have this problem. But when I want to build units their icons appear perfectly well. It's strange. Spies and diplomats have their icons pixelated to.
I'm sorry that I can't show you the pics for now- it would make things easier but I think you get my point right
Okey, my full PC specification:
Hard disc Seagate 320GB, 7200rpm, 16MB, NCQ, SATAII,
Motherboard Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition, AM2,
Processor AMD Athlon 64 5600+ X2 Dual-Core, AM2,
Ram Patriot DDR2 2 x 1GB 800MHz DL PC2-6400,
Power LC6550 550W 24 pin,
GeForce 8800 GTS, 320MB, PCI-e
Monitor LCD 19" Samsung SyncMaster 931C
Anyone having similar problems? The other thing is also that the overall visual quaility and performance is not what I suspected to be having from this hardware (in other PC games to). Yeah, I played around with nvidia control panel specifications but noone gives me proper results. At best I can set graphical quality to slightly higher then medium (in games like Arma, Oblivion, Medieval 2 TW). Something wrong with my PC?
Yep, it's a problem with some monitors. I don't play vanilla or anything else, but I had EB installed on another computer last year and it had that problem always, no matter how much I updated the video card drivers. It's just strat map generals/spies/diplomats/assassins and banners as far as I can tell.
