You know the strangest thing is that the Britons (Casse) actually can build a level 2 government there, at least according to this:

Anyone know why that is?
I think it is because of their Celtic culture. I suppose any Celtic faction can have a better than usual government type there.![]()
Never played a Celtic before? Well, one of the most strangest, and funniest, things in these campaigns is that anytime Galatia rebells, for example from the Seleucids, it is given to a Celtic faction. When I played an Averni campaign, I suddenly found myself granted with a sub-faciton in central Anatolia at war with AS.

The Aedui faction owns Ankyra in my current Romanii campaign. It will soon be their last stronghold.
In my campaign this has occured several times, all of wich Ankyra has been granted to the Aedui.
I´ve seen this too.
In my Campaign in year 225 BC "AS" owns nearly all of the east. From Asia Minor to the Black Sea to Egypt and the far end of the map in India.
Without this town Ankyra.
In every MOD that i tried, from RTR; SPQR; RS to EB this ******* AS ore Macedonians ore Greeks get bigger and bigger. Why is nobody there to stop them from expanding in every direction?
Even in the newest EB Build they are crowing without control.
I have had +/- 25 years of WTF moments in Gaul. Every freaking year the Gauls pump out a full stack with at least 6 units of Getestae bastards. Every time I think I can advance and take another settlement, woops! there it iis, another full stack. They are emptying all of there towns, their second Capital(took their first) went from 16K+ to 9K+ in a few years.
No greater friend, no worse enemy

Well, Sulla, at least you should have a much easier time taking them down in a few more years, right?
And Thor, your comment about Seleukid domination is interesting, just because that hasn't been the standard case with EB 1.0. In many games Seleukid enemies totally destroy their empire, the Ptolemaioi being the main opponent.
I always simulate Galatia in my campaigns by constantly buying and giving Ankyra to the Gauls, and keeping it well supplied with mnai. (until I conquer them of course)![]()

The Ptolies have a hard time against AS. I dont know why, but in my campaign As is worth his nickname "The grey Death" ore as its sometimes called "The grey Wave".
It´s not a problem, but i wondered that also in this new build of EB there may be a Superpower.
Many modders have tried to balance this behaviour ore to restrict expansion, but it seems very difficult.
its quite often the other way around with the Ptolies reigning supreme. seems pretty balanced to me, one game one of them wins the next its the other.

Yeah that´s true. Sometimes you loose and sometimes the other win.
It is balanced in this but for all the other factions one of them becomes a Superpower.
Like, for example, the player faction![]()
