Hello everyone,

Me, Malik of Sindh and a few others are looking to create a mod for EB that dipsoses of the Casse, and includes a new Indian faction. You can find our development/discussion thread here. The mod is still in the early stages and we need all the help we can get at the moment. Later in the project, we will need a good skinner/modeller to create some new Indian units, eg. Rajput Cavalry and some Indian Swordsmen among others. If you are interested then either PM me, Malik of Sindh or Pharnakes with some examples of your work or post here. Experience isn't needed, just be willing to learn!

EDIT: The mod has develpoed drastically since I posted this advert. We are now looking to move the entire map eastwards to include the whole of India. This means that we will be including extra factions and will need all the modelers/skinners we can get! Also, we will now need Historians on India and Western Asia in 260 BC, as well as coders. You can see our proposed map here, and you can read Pharnakes' ideas for factions here. Our old development/discussion thread can be found here, whilst our new one can be found here.

Of course, being a mod for EB we want to try and stay as historical as possible and so any sources you have about India or Western Asia in 260 BC we would be extremely thankfull and you would obviously be given due credit. In fact, any help you could offer, no matter how small, we would be eternally gratefull.

EDIT 2: The mod has now been re-named "Asia ton Barbaron", as we were no longer focusing on Europe.

EDIT 3: We are having a problem. We have been looking for information on Bosporas, but so far, we have been extremely unsuccessful. Without info, the faction will not be able to be included in the mod, which would be a dissapointment as the faction is in a intersesting area, and would have a very interesting unit roster. So, if any one has any information or websites on Bosporas in 260 BC, the team would be extremely grateful and you would recieve due credit. Thanks in advance.

EDTI 4 (30/12/2007): We're now urgently looking for modelers and skinners as the project is really starting to come along. So if you are interested, could you please post here or give me a pm.

Please,we really need a modeler and a skinner.We currentely don't have anyone to do the units.Im the mods scripter,Pharnakes is mapper and Admetos is 2d artist.We welcome skinners/modelers with any amount of experience,jst know the basics.

As I said before, I would like to join in as a historical advisor-not a full member as people might mistake my involvement as EB involvement. This is just me. I have some pretty good books and overall knowledge of hellenistic India at the time we speak of. My time will be very short in the future, and I fear that you may PM me if you want something done. Still, I think I can help the mod, and I will try to. What can I say? Always loved India, always will.
