    Default Menu problems

    The menu screen will sometimes just periodically freeze up. If I press Alt-Tab it will, after a while, let me go back on and give me another 10 seconds. If I get to the game itself, there aren't any problems, only sometimes with the in game cut scenes (like election of a new pope), but apart from that no in-game trouble. I've patched it up to 1.3 but this problem just won't go away. Can anyone help?
