Welcome to the Rome Total Realism Experience....
The waiting is over: now come with us for the first time into a land that you create and control, but we bring to life for you; The Iberian Conflict.
A stage is set and waiting: a sprawling yet at times rugged landscape, two armies, two historical factions are poised to battle with each other over the future, a future ready to decide. The essential missing ingredient- you.
The first of a series of mini-campaigns that will be presented to you by the RTR team, The Iberian Conflict is a guided mission spanning 20 years, 80 turns, with set objectives. Each is to be accomplished by you within a given time frame, with bonuses or penalties depending on the result of each mission.
We hope you don’t rush through and miss all the exciting and detailed information that the team and researchers have provided for you. Take your time, read advice and messages that come up on screen while you play, and remember that while playing your campaign you can always access all the information we have provided here in this forum- or in your extras bonus information pack.
RTR now has a completely new feeling, from the specially created music written by our talented musicians Alex McGery and Alejandro Rodriguez, and the amazing artwork of our GFX team. Once you start your campaign and hit that four-turn-per-year button, you will find yourself drawn towards a series of encounters that we hope will transport you deep into the past, into the reality of “what if…”
TIC is but a small taste of what the RTR VII Grand Campaign will be, and by releasing these campaigns for you one at a time as the team assemble all the elements together, will allow you the user to give us vital feedback and help fine tune the many hours of work that our small but dedicated team has put into this.
To help you navigate your way through the various features that this sub forum contains, you will find a user quick link menu in the pinned topics. Use it to navigate around and check out the various features that the team has created to enhance your gaming experience.
From complete faction unit fact sheets to faction specific campaign guides, with tips and tricks from the team and special guests, to TIC theme aars, a special multi-player area for some fun friend vs. friend encounters, RTR is here to make this experience a special one.
Want to feedback to us? Please do! Your opinion is important to us. Use the specially prepared template and let us know what you think. You will find the team is responsive to your suggestions and can provide extra information if necessary. We look forward to your comments.
If you have a technical question or issue, please go to the specially prepared TIC tech area, where one of our experts will deal with your questions. The support officers on our team will deal with any issues here at the forums while the team keeps track using our "TIC-post release" tracker.
Please read the FAQ first, as many of the simple issues have solutions, and a quick fix guide is already prepared.
So now, let RTR Titus and the RTR Developer team take you on a journey that we hope will both challenge and inspire you.
The RTR team thanks all other members of the modding community for their support, and recognizes these individuals and groups for special assistance: SigniferOne and the EB Team for animations, and Pinarius for the excellent horses.
RTR isn't just about our team alone, it is in fact a celebration of all the wealth that the TWC community possesses through collaboration and cooperation.
The time for talking has ended. Now- experience for yourself.Thank you once again for your support of our mod.
May you always be victorious in life.
Salve,
The RTR team.

If you read the posts on both our forums (RS' and RTR's) I'm sure that you will soon get a flavour of what both mods have to offer.
