Am I the only one or is this how the shield is supposed to be.

Whats up with the Gallic Cavalry Shield.
Am I the only one or is this how the shield is supposed to be.
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show."

Yes I installed the mod right. The only thing I can think that could cause this is that I have XGM installed too.

This may sound stupid. I didn't know that was a error. I thought it was the way the shield was designed.

what faction is that?? ive never had a problem with them before.. post what faction its for and well take a look at it
edit: (faction because alot of our barbarian factions use the same model but with different skins or different model that is similar to that)

I had that problem here
and despite reinstalling and installing hotfixes, I still haven't managed to resolve it. I'm hoping that RS2 will sort it all out.

That is strange, on my game the shields are round and the patterns match

like i said a couple other barbarian factions use the same model so it could of been from the free people, the germans, or gaul.. just trying to see if it affects all 3 of those factions to see if its a problem with the install or a problem with the model in generalOriginally Posted by Ephialtes The Dog

The free people and the German's light cavalry shield does the same thing. I also noticed today that when viewing the inside of the shield that it appears as a circle but when you rotate the camera so that you can see the face of it that it does the butterfly thing. But like century x said it doesn't affect the gameplay so I can let it slide.

Strange, on mine it works fine. It's circular and the patterns go together.
