Tournament of "the Vivandière"

The Tournament of the Vivandière

This is a clan/team-based tournament.

Games should consist in 2v2 or 3v3. (Or even 4v4 if the two teams agree)

The online games will be played with the usual LoV rules.

Let's make them clear once more :

- No Fire in melee. Check this :

- First unit in your roster must be a general unit.



Once we'll have the complete list of the teams wishing to participate, we
will tell you which games (who vs who) have to be played first.
Each team will be selected randomly to meet his adversary in the first round of the tournament. [NWG]_Gunner24 has kindly accepted to help us during this step.

Once you've lost a game, you are out of the competition. That's what makes the tournament spicy !


When a team wins a match it must take a screenshot.
The screenshot must be uploaded on the tournament topic
on the grognard forum.

This battle result will then be taken in account by a Grognard moderator.

When a freeze or a crash occurs in game, we prefer
that the teams decide who won or lost.They may also want to replay the
game. We expect each team to behave fair-play.

You'll be able
to check the progression of the Tournament on a page which will be updated as
often as possible (So dont be too long to report your battle results on
the forum !)


The final winner wins the Price of the Vivandière!

I'll take the liberty of posting this here:

Le "Tournoi de la Vivandière" va être déplacé pour la sortie du prochain patch N:TW2, car la version s'avère ne pas être assez stable pour permettre aux différents clan de s'affronter dans des conditions optimales lors de rencontre en 2v2 et supérieur.
En plus d'avoir 2 nouvelles factions, les Turcs et les Suédois, les Lordz s'engage à éradiquer dans le prochain update les freezes et crashs en enlevant le BP (bullet piercing) qui est la cause de tant de malheur.

Le Tournoi n'est pas mort, au contraire on essaie en ce moment même d'avoir au moins entre 12 et 16 équipes/clan en jeu.

The "Tournament of the Vivandière" will be delayed until the next official N:TW2 patch is released. The main reason is that the game just isn't stable enough to play 3vs3 or 4vs4 in optimal conditions.
Adding to the release of the turks and Swedes, the lordz are looking forward to solve this bp issue (bullet piercing) which is the main cause of those crashes to desktop and freezes.

The Tournament is certainly not dead and as i am speaking, we are trying to get up to 12, may be even 16 clans into the tournament. :napoleon:

Yeah, better make it crash free as well, or I fear there might be no tournament, lol...

Did turning off the BP really solve the crash/freeze issue? I though it had been tested earlier and there were still freezes...
