    Icon4 Gotland Footmen

    I'm playing as the Danes in the Teutonic campaign but I can't figure out how to produce Gotland footmen (well armored, armed with claymores). I know that only the Danes and Norwegians can produce this unit, but I can't find out how. Hope this isn't a stupid question. Thanks!

    first you have to have already recieved Kalmar Union event

    then you can't produce it since it's a bug

    then cry alot

    then look for help to find the mod

    then you go to twcenter downloads and in search look for: kalmar union bug fix

    then you'll see in twcenter downloads there is already a mod that fixs it

    then you'll turn happy

    then you'll download it

    then play it

    then give swagger a reputation point or more

    Hey don't forget me, I uploaded the fix here, it's my campaign_script code, and I asked the question that led to searching the code that led to the development of the fix!

    or crusades stone forts ?

    or even hochmeister skin bug ?

    On the question of the Kalmar union, does anyone know which provinces are needed to control Scandanavia and get the upgrade to the union? I have all of what I would consider to be Scandanavia, holding all of modern day Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, plus two of the settlements east of Hamburg (cant remember what they are called) and the two south of Finland by Novgorods starting position. If anyone knows I'd be rather grateful.

    For the Kalmar Union you need:

    Kalmar
    Göteborg
    Visby
    Upsala
    Abo


    After that you need to kill the last Norwegian king.
    Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.

    Short Answer: No.

    This is what you are installing. All you are actually adding is one line of code in a certain spot "set_event_counter kalmar_formed 1" -- as I said in the download page, this is for people who don't want to mess with the files at all or don't want to go to the trouble of searching the campaign_script file. Since it's keyed to the formation of the Kalmar Union, not its existence, you MIGHT be able to get them if you install the fix before you form the union, but afterwards you have lost your chance because you won't get the "Kalmar Union Formed" event.

    Yes, you will need to unpack export_descr_building.txt and add it to the mod/teutonic/data/ folder and add Gotland footmen to the highest citadel barracks. Create a new Kingdoms shortcut and add to the end [ --features.mod=mod/teutonic --io.file_first]. (without brackets)
    Restart campaign.

    Teutonic campaign has a very long list of bugs so you may as well get fixes for them if you can and start a new campaign.

    eg
    Pagan Astrologer bug
    Mangonel bug
    Kalmar union bug
    No unit recruitment for Norway bug
    Missing Viking raiders for citadel bug
    Double entry for Viking raiders for fortress denmark
    Bad script with mercenary rocket launchers
    Hochmeister skin bug
    Apothecary bug (carried from M2TW)
    All gunpowder related ancillaries bugged (carried from M2TW)
    Thieves guild bug (carried from M2TW)

    and quite a few others

    I have a fix for all them and might consider uploading. Fixes the other campaigns as well except for no priest piety bug for Americas as I haven't had time.

    what is the mangonel bug ?

    i've played with the teutons and recruited a lot of mangonels and i didn't saw anything that could be a bug

    Recruitable at catapult range and then disappears if you upgrade to seige workshop for both castles and cities.

    does anyone know how to change the number of turns that a recruitment pool can fill up?

    You have to unpack the file export_descr_buildings (EDB). For each unit per building you will find the following line:
    Code:
    recruit_pool "EE Town Militia"  1   0.5   4  0  requires factions { poland, }
    Change the 0.5 to a higher number and the recruitment pool will fill up quicker. The number should be between 0.1 and 0.9 (I think)
