For those not in the know, Puscifer - Maynard James Keenan's solo project is giving birth to its first brilliant child on October 30th. So far, everything I've heard off it so far points towards a rapid, but sexy departure from all of MJK's previous stuff. We're talking dark, but smooth electronic sex. In music form. To quote the man himself:
"Our goal is to make music that sounds like a smooth but firm hot buttered pelvic massage."

Don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait for this.

Dude, thanks for reminding me.... I totally forgot about the Puscifer album coming out!

How the hell did he find time to record this when he's been on the road with Tool for a year and a half?!

Anyway, I can't access Myspace from work, but i'll definitly be checking this out at the next available opportunity.

    Cheers for the reminder

I don't like these side-projects. All this time and effort should rather be spent on a new album with Tool.

Edit: Anyone caught Tool at the Øya-festival this year?

I love the side projects. New angles are always nice. Especially this angle... it's oh so refreshing, and most importantly, it sounds like the kind of thing I'm getting into atm.

Brilliant and cool. Seems more like a deep tissue massage than a caressing massage. Almost toned down Chilli Peppers but 'sensual'.

Not quite how I'd describe it... but yes. Brilliant and cool. And only 1 week away.
