Horum omnium fortissimi sunt Belgae.
And at night, too! Holy smoke! 7000 dead? My computer would have just blown smoke and died.
Excellent outcome. Have you played the Romans, and if so, do you find the Greeks more difficult? Just curious.
Another thing I always thought would be cool is if you could fight the battle long enough that day would fade to night. The computer would randomly assign a battle start time but then time would pass normally. Of course, that has nothing to do with your great victory, just a random thought.
Well done.
Lost In Transition
Still trying to find my place in the world . . .
bad spelling? where?
To quote Lost in Transaction: 'Have you played the Romans, and if so, do you find the Greeks more difficult?'.
Nope, i didn't play the Romans yet. But neither am i playing the Greeks now, i'm playing with Syracuse on Hard.
And Oli, what do you mean: why would ANYONE in their right mind attack a city against those odds?
Horum omnium fortissimi sunt Belgae.
Oli, it looks as though when he attacked it was more even numbered, but that was before reinforcements came in.
Technically he had the numerical advantage before the other army came.![]()
Yup, it can be done by intercepting the reinforcements and then just massacre the remaining army in the city
easy as cake
They attacked me, by the way.
I was closed in and the reinforcements came in when half of my army was in the city already.
Horum omnium fortissimi sunt Belgae.
