Man, oh man.
I was so happy when EB 1.0 was released. When it finally worked I took up my arms as the SPQR, and started a campaign at H/M (which worked awesome with 0.81)
Fourty turns later in the game I couldn't resist the urge of toggle_fow, and to my surprise I only saw that the Casse, Ptolemaioi and the Koinon Hellenon had expanded. Meagerly.
Huh, odd. Usually I don't play at VH/M, because the AI doesn't expand as much, and I heard someone say that if you put it on H (Campaign difficulty) the AI factions wóuld expand. Sadly, not in 1.0.
I still kept going on with the Romani, taking cities and finally destroying the Epeirotes, but seriously. I liked to be challenged, and with almost no expansion from the AI, I hardly get the feeling of being fast-paced.
The EB FAQ says VH/M is the best option, but does anyone have advice on what the best difficulty is if you want a good AI that expands?
