Default The Dramatic Loading Screen Mod

This mod can be directly unzipped into your MTW directory or into a mod folder of your choice. All the files are correctly placed within a directory tree for ease of use.

    DOWNLOAD THE FILE HERE
    Warning: Roughly 120mb

This mod contains 152 loading screens. These loading screens are based upon the style of the vanilla game; screenshots inset in a frame. Further, these images are cut to be dramatic and not just images of units standing around. There are images that dont even contain units, just a castle, a church, a sunset, etc. Then there are also images of battle scenes. There are images of commanders looking down upon a battle below. Each image hints at a story lying beneath the surface.

This mod also includes my War College Quotes Mod. It replaces the original 120 quotes with 246 NEW QUOTES!

I have included some samples below. These are cropped to exclude most of the interface framing. In the game, these would appear where the vanilla normally are.

i dont know if this is exactly related to ur mod or wat, but ever since i added in ur mod my sound has been totally messed up. on the first loading screen ur new screen showed up, but then when i went to load the campaign the game crashed. so i went and deleted everything i could find related to u rmod. after that my game seemed to run fine, but the music problems r still around. the music on the main menue has been changed, and there r no sfx, and also no music on the campaign map.

That happens if you make a moddir without copying the sounds folder over.

The first post has been updated. Version is now 1.2. If you have the previous version, OVERWRITE the existing files. I switched some filenames around.

I added 51 new screens; a sampling below:

D/L doesn't work! I d/l'd your War College Quotes Mod, found an error in it, don't know if it has been fixed -

{Quote_213}The only possible way to train those who have never participated inw war is to have them lead troops on different kinds of terrain

Also some spelling errors in it too. sovereign, maneuver

As the last post by the original author of this mini-mod is over 2 years ago, I'm not surprised that the link is long dead by now. I did DL this back then, but I can't seem to locate the files anymore, so I can't help you alas, which is a shame as his screens were very good.

However, you could try the following link if you are looking for some interesting loading screens as they are also quite well done:
