Go to your medieval2/mods/stainless_steel/data folder.
Open following file:
descr_effect_impacts.txt
search for "play_time" values
The value after playtime is the time in seconds the arrow stays.
This is the important part:
Delte the ";" in front of the "play_time" line. (When a ";" is in front of this line, this means, that the arrows stay infinite in game! So remove the ";" and adjust the value behind to a value you like (I have mine at 180 seconds).
BTW you will have to do this for every single arrow "type". You will see what I mean when you open the files.
