    Default AI Improve ,best for siege

    I note that in your mod ,specially in British isles,the mod i play actually,the siege army is to close from the town,and we annihilated a half army before they attack,this bug is common in most part of mods,so a time ago i pick in darths and Lusted files and improving my self some Xlm files ,i made a smart AI,the basic formations and cavalry penetration is from darth ,but the AI mix the Lusted caution with my touch whiteout be passive aren't suicide,the AI siege and field battles,in my opinion are very improved,i hope you try and give some feedback.
    If you like your actual formations and movements just use the xlm files.


    Just unpack and replace data ,in you mod data folder .

    Not from you.I don't suppose you try this mod . Those files are just a mini mod from me changing and mixing some files from darth and Lusted,i just put those files here because,i note that in your mod when the AI siege ,the all army approach to much from the walls and with those files don't.
    Only the unit with the ram.And when i present it in LTC some people like.
    You can remove it i don't mind.

    Me to ,as i like it in LTC,the archers protected by infantry,prevent the cavalry attack them,and the army waiting far from walls .Good.

    This files are save compatible,and can be added to almost mods ,not to all mods but to most part.Just tweak the Ai ,specially in the sieges,if you note, when the AI siege your town or castle, the enemy army are to close from the arch and towers range,so when they finish ramming,almost part of their army are KO.Not now,and i use a old Darth formation to protect the archers, they are behind the spears not in front ,now you cant use the cav to ride some archer lose unit.Try i think you gonna like.Those files are mostly from Darth and Lusted,i just tweak the Ai ,the xlm files.

    Will try your data file and see how the archers behave. It encourages me to hear they are not so easily rushed upon and slaughtered. Hopefully my battles will be more challenging.

    Is an old darths DLV formation with archers behind the infantry,the only files i really changed are battle_config and config_ai_battle,but it works,there is no more suicidal archers ,and specially in the sieges ,we cant reach to the most part of enemy army before the ram finish the job, but as i said all credits goes to lusted and darth.

    Does it work with DLV5.2???

    I"m guessing this will only work if you have Kingdoms installed? I'm trying it with DLV 4.0.3 and the game just crashes back to the desktop after installing the files, but DLV works fine in its default installed state...



    EDIT: Never mind my post, I forgot I had installed a "longer move distances" mod along with yours, and THAT was the one causing my game to crash. I've removed it, replaced the files you uploaded and having no trouble, sorry for the mistake!

    Hops I never had a crash,
    I dont know about new versions,but this mini mod use to work in most mods,except the file descr_mount, the famous penetration cavalry against infantry, made by darth who crashes in some mods (exp. SS 5.1) ,but the main files, the XLM, are inoffensive.

    It works fine for me, it was the other file that I'd forgotten about screwing things up Thanks for posting this!
