There are no strange probs at all, the only thing that was missing was MISSING MAP.RWM from EB/DATA/WORLD/MAPS/BASE !!

Anyone with the same prob (and without map.rwm) - and, if you have installed everything right - you should just see if there is no map.rwm in directory above - and there should not be any -

and just copy it to your rtw/eb/data/world/maps/base !!!!!!! (unpack it first)

And you will be able to play it ---

And thank EB team, EB 1 is very powerfull !

note:: please direct all with some kind of probs liek mine was to this link and instructions - it will anable them to play EB 1

Err. I had one, and only when I deleted it did the game start.

Only probs I have are ''named character'' (from eb/data/world/...imperiall_ campaign/descr_start), when I exit the game, certan characters are (that is in error message) ''named_characters'' and they should not be --- so, You just remmeber their name and serch for it in descr_start -- then replace ''named_character'' with ''general'' -- and the game will work fine, plus even If you dont change that -- the gam will work I think

My 1.2 is saying I am missing Missing file: .\data\packs\patch_1.pak any ideas?
