Prometheus, wait for the next version, it shouldn't take all too long. I made already changes to the drawing, I hope it will work then.
Alman9898, it will be editable in one of the next versions, but you will still have to wait a while.
Ah, ok.

I'm slowly progressing since I have lot of work for school the last week.
Editing existing regions is nearly complete, adding new provinces isn't that difficult I hope. I also have to add the feature to set for the cities/ports a new position. I hope that I have more time this week.
For a screenshot of the region editing feature click here.

Some news:
Settlement editing is nearly complete. Currently working on the building editor (Screenshot). With it you can add/remove buildings to the settlement.
The editor can now save the following files:
descr_strat.txt, descr_regions_and_settlement_name_lookup.txt, descr_regions.txt, {campaign}_regions_and_settlement_names.txt
For the regions you don't have to open a text file
What I have to do now is the city/port placing and region adding/removing.
Greetings, MrHide

Mr. Hide, last weekend i played the new mod from linedog, the first simple version of the bigger campaign map vor RTR 1.1.
Then i copied the folder to load it with your tool, in the very last part of the loading process it crashed with error in the exe. Maybe you have a look and try it ones yourself to find out.
The mod itself runs perfect and seems to have no errors.
Greetings!

(snip a bunch of cool stuff)
What I have to do now is the city/port placing...
Out of curiosity, are you going to included unit placement as well? One of the biggest pains I've had with editing the map has been getting units placed properly with the x,y coordinates. I can never visualize exactly where I'm putting them.
Thanks for the program!! Great stuff thus far.

Present version does not work with RTR map. I think Mr. Hide said something about rectifying this in a future version.

NEW VERSION IS OUT: v0.2
To download, look at the first post or at the TTO forums.
Please read the information and the readme
Some background information:
Much of the time I worked needed the file reader of the RTW files. It alone has 2700 lines of code. The code grew since the last version a lot and the editor has currently without the engine over 8000 lines of code.
Edit: Added the original campaign files.
I hope that there are no problems.
Have fun,
MrHide
