getting the best out of my laptop with this game
running an AMD 3500+, at about 2.2gHz with 1.5bg of ram and an ATI Xpress 200 (128mb) video card...which I know for a fact is the cause of all the choppiness
Basically running the game with most of the video options set to low and vegetation set to medium and the battles are still jumpy... and just what does the filtering option mean? Bilinear, trilinear, etc??
Anything I can do to try and get the best possible performance with the game? I guess I could click the auto-detect, but I have a feeling the game would just be toying with me
....and replacing the video card (which I would just LOVE to do) is an impossibility because its intergrated
cheers

Turn the unit scale down. Auto-detect usually isnt that reliable if you have a bad pc. Get rid of shadows and grass as they take up alot of the speed
