Getting Unspecified Error??????

I've re-formatted computer, updated ATI radeon 9600 / x1050 series drivers, reinstalled the game, and still get the Unspecified Error program will shut down every time I try to start the game.

2.Have you unpacked any files?
- if you did delete the Geography files and refer to this thread
