Need a faction to start with

what would be the hardest faction to play with this mod? and can you tell me is it harder to play on late or early era?

i tried playing as Denmark in late era an that didn't go smooth i got attacked by the French the tonic order an Russians within a few turns + since its late era an there ain't more than 3 rebel settlements left an lets say u start out with a little faction u have a huge disadvantage because u have to expand an to do that u gotta start a fight hence giving u a bad rep so i would suggest u try a little faction

hardest....well this depends of the player and the estrategy used

but templars/jerusalem can be very hard, no allies closer,closer of turks and egypcians, also a fav target for jihads ^_^

also lithuania in my opinion its the more hardest of all

Early campaign, Norway, VH/H is proving to be a real challenge. I allied with Demark right off, so I've been focusing on raiding England. Scotland and England have both launched naval assaults on my mainland, and Ireland and Spain have attacked me on the isle. Good stuff goin on

Try playing the teutonic knights in the late era campaign. they start with just one castle and real soon Novgorod, Poland, Lithuania and Denmark go to war with you. I usually play on VH/VH but I had to switch to H/VH and got beat there to. I've just started a M/H campaign and I am doing a bit better.
