Anyone else seen this? Where is the option to reactivate the family tree, historically it should be there.
Might scrap the family tree for the Venetians though.

Hi finneys,
I thought I do the same for the Kingdom of Jerusalem as for the Teutonic Order:
To leave out the family tree, so that only the best general becomes faction leader...
However, probably you're right that historically it should have a family tree.
This is the original family tree from kingdoms:
so if you want ti use it you just have to change the names accordingly, of course...character_record Almaric, male, age 56, dead 10, never_a_leader
character_record Agnes, female, age 40, dead 10, never_a_leader
relative Almaric, Agnes, Guy of Lusignan, Baldwin, end
I think I'll change this with the next patch...

Thanks for replying.
Do consider giving definitely Venice this no family tree lark.
This is my end of Jerusalem at the moment, with CNP changes, I'm just swapping them and the Templars for the Early Era.
But I get no family tree, why is that? There must be another change somewhere.character_record Berengaria, female, age 29, alive, never_a_leader
character_record Eustache de_Bouillon, male, age 7, alive, never_a_leader
character_record Isabelle de_Bouillon, female, age 6, alive, never_a_leader
relative Godefroy de_Bouillon, Berengaria, Baudouin de_Bouillon, Eustache de_Bouillon, Isabelle de_Bouillon, end

Well, I gave Jerusalem the french names (if I remeber correctly), but your family tree sounds actually pretty french...
And yes, I forgot: you have to open the descr_sm_factions file and change "has_family_tree no" to yes...

You used the vanilla name list for Jerusalem, hence Guy of Lusignan and Baldwin instead of Guy de Lusignan and Baudouin, which is CNP.
Thanks for the last file, all I need now.
In a future version, could you have faction re-emergence for destroyed factions? How difficult is that to mod in? Is it just descr_strat and campaign_script to do changed?
Venice could definately use no tree. Did Milan? Because I thought they were like Venice too.
No, Milan had families, at least later on, the Viscountis, Storfzs (sp), etc. Genoa should have no family tree, if they were in.
