If you want to skin him, sure - but if you want to alter the model in 3dsmax I would suggest downloading Professor420's Video Tutorials (find them on the TWC wiki) and looking at those first.

thanks Halie.. BTW do you know how to recognize some files in photoshop so that in can open a tga and dds format???

You need to download a dds plugin for PS and drop it into your plugins folder - a google search should get you what you need.
