A quick question

Hello all.

Just recently picked up Medieval 2 again after awhile since I just discovered some of the new mods around on it. But I have a question, not just about the mods.

I remember when I used to play that when you hovered the mouse icon over just about ANYTHING, like how many crosses you have to your name along with a little blurb about how much the Pope likes you, or just hovering over the buildings in a province indicating what it is, etc. Now that I'm using 1.2 (for Stainless Steel), it's not doing so anymore, and there's nothing in the options anywhere that indicates I can turn it back on. Can anyone help?
