War of Kings
This mod is aimed at adding ore content to the game, as well as adding in some RPG aspects, without becoming as huge and sometimes slow as AD or DLV. Those are both great mods, and this mod will simulate them somewhat, however, it will take a different path, and will not be quite as involved. (ie. no being flooded with historical events messages.) I will also not be adding in new skins, atleast not now. This mod is ment to give a fresh feel to the campaign map, with out getting too out of hand. I'm not trying to totally remake the entire game, because that is a ton of work, and ussually results in much slower times for turns. However i do want to add soe aspects that will be felt throughout every facton. Things like the education system and governing system will help to acomplish this. Alot of how far this mod goes depends on how much help I am able to get. I am not opposed to doing more then what I have listed, I just dont want to be too ambishous when I haven't even started yet and dont have a team.
On to the additions I would like to make:
General Changes
Turns shown as years
1 year per turn (possibly 0.5 years per turn)
build times and prices changed to reflect this. Every building will take twice as long to build, with the exception of: roads, first level market, first level barracks. Recruitment pool refresh times will remain unchanged.
Coming of Age changed to 14 y/o to help the computer make better heir choices.
Units
Dismounted Mailed Knights: this will be EXACTLY like the mounted version, except it will use a sword. (all factions that have mailed knights)
Sergeant Swordsmen: this will look just like the segeant spearman, but will have a sword. (i.e. no starting armor, tear drop shield) (all factions with sergeant/leavy spearman)
Mangonel: ported over from Kingdoms
Amoured Sergeant: for England.
Traits
Education
This will be similar to the systems that have been used in other mods, for more streamed lined. The branches will include: Military, Administrative, Religious, and possibly a Political field done in the capitol city.
Military education will be done in a castle, Administrative will be done in a city, and religious will be done in a city with atleast a 3rd level religious building.
Each field will have 3 levels. (time shown as total)
Bachelor (4 years/turns): yielding basic bonus
Masters (6 years/turns): yielding stronger bonuses
Doctorate (8 years/turns): yielding the greatest bonuses

A detailed traits system will be used to cover the developement of governers. this will work similarly to the field experiance system for generals in DLV. This will be based on the number of years that the governor has governed in the city. If it can be done, then it will be very city specific.
There will also be a battle number based system that will confer hitpoint and moral bonuses.
Battles
There will be a trait line to cover how many battles the general has been in, as well as how many battles the general has won. This will help to keep track of how well you have progressed through the battle experiance traits. (How many battles do I need to get to the next trait level?)
Borrow Proposals
I would like to be able to borrow the crowns ancillaries and settlement ancillaries from DLV. As well as the darth formations, bloodlines from BBB, and those type of things.
